A fractal puff of smoke.
Apophysis generated with colour touch-ups in Photoshop. Working time: 4.5 hours approx. Comments

 im very fasinated by the smoke (most time from ciggerates), it winds so wonderfully through your fingers, and dances, you captured this beauty
That's pretty much why I wanted to make this. It's so simple and yet so complex.
I wanted to use this in another work... but it works so well on it's own. -- Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe; All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe. It really does, im wondering though how it would look to have that ciggerette smoke curling around someones fingers..might look neat.
  wow, that's really nice. Just wondering the process you used to archive that effect.
Using Apophysis I stretched and twisted the fractal then partially folded it back upon itself. The I tidies up the dreggy little bits, cropped, rotated and colour adjusted in Photoshop.
